An analyst firm called Hitwise, a company that specializes in monitoring and measuring website traffic, announced today that Google has gained more shares of the search engine market. Google's share of searches have risen from 67.9 percent in April, to 68.29 percent in May. During the same period, Yahoo has dropped from 20.28 percent to 19.95 percent, along with MSN which has gone from 6.26 to 5.89 percent. Trailing not far behind MSN is Ask.com, which has actually risen from 4.17 percent, to 4.23 percent. This is really important information for anybody doing business online, because this shows you which search engines you should be trying the hardest to get into, and which ones have the most amount of advertising space for you to buy or make money from.
